Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

You may request a return of an unused, unopened product in its original packaging within 14 calendar days after delivery or pickup. Keep your receipt or order number and contact us before sending anything back.

For health and hygiene reasons, opened or used hair and beauty products are generally not eligible for a change-of-mind return. This does not limit your rights if a product is damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise covered by law.

Please contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the problem, and, if helpful, a photo of the item or packaging. We will arrange an appropriate replacement, return, or refund. We cover return shipping for items we sent incorrectly or that arrive defective, as required by applicable law.

For a change-of-mind return, customers are responsible for return postage; original delivery fees are normally nonrefundable. If we shipped the wrong or a defective item, we will cover the applicable return costs. We will confirm return instructions before you mail the item.

Once an eligible return is received and reviewed, we refund the approved merchandise amount and applicable tax to the original payment method, subject to any lawful exclusions disclosed above. Your bank or payment provider determines when funds appear. Mandatory consumer refund rights always take precedence over this policy.

We do not apply a separate credit-card processing surcharge to online orders. When we refund a payment, our payment processor generally does not return its original processing fee to our business. We absorb that merchant cost rather than deducting it from an otherwise eligible customer refund.

Charges imposed independently by your bank or card issuer, including foreign transaction fees or currency conversion charges, are not collected by us. Please contact your financial institution about those charges.

If you notice a billing problem or do not recognize a charge, please contact us so we can investigate and help resolve it promptly. You may also contact your card issuer about your rights to dispute a transaction. We do not add our payment provider's chargeback handling fee to your order or automatically bill that fee to you. This policy does not restrict your rights with your card issuer or under applicable law.

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We will try to cancel an order before it ships or its gift certificate is issued. Once an item has shipped, the applicable return rules apply. If we cannot fulfill an order, or cannot ship on time without your agreement to a delay, we will offer the cancellation and refund rights required by law.

Gift certificates are sold at their stated face value without a separate card-payment processing surcharge and may be used for eligible products and services at Artiste Hair Studio. Once issued, they are generally not refundable for a change of mind, except where required by law or if we made an error. We will assist with disputed or undelivered certificates.

Massachusetts gift certificates are valid for at least seven years from issuance, with issuance and expiration information provided as required by law. They are not redeemable for cash except where applicable law requires it. In Massachusetts, holders of nonreloadable gift certificates who have used at least 90% of the original value may choose to receive the remaining balance in cash.

Each gift certificate has one unique reference and one balance, regardless of its delivery format. Any postage for a mailed certificate is disclosed before payment and does not reduce the certificate's face value. If a replacement is issued, we may invalidate the original copy to protect its remaining value.

A Service Request is not a confirmed appointment, and submitting one does not reserve a time or take payment. To change a confirmed appointment, contact the studio; any cancellation or deposit conditions will be disclosed before you agree to a paid appointment.
