Brow Lamination + Wax
Brow lamination with precise waxing Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty
Booking for this service continues on the Charm Brows & Beauty website (opens in a new tab).
About this service
Lamination lifts and sets your brow hairs; waxing cleans up everything outside the shape. Together they're the most common brow appointment — the hairs are brushed up and fluffy, and the outline is sharp.
Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty.
Doing both in one visit also makes the shaping more accurate, because once the hairs are lifted your therapist can see the true brow shape and remove only what genuinely sits outside it.
What's included
- Consultation about shape, lift and how much to remove
- Lamination — lifting solution, hairs brushed into position, then set
- Waxing to define the outline, plus tweezing of strays
- Nourishing balm to condition the hairs
- Soothing product on the skin
- Aftercare advice
What to expect at your appointment
Allow about an hour and fifteen minutes. Lamination is done first so the true shape becomes visible, then your therapist waxes the outline and tweezes any strays.
A conditioning balm and soothing product finish the appointment. Some redness around the brows is normal for a short time.
Who it's best for
Anyone who wants fuller, lifted brows with a clean, defined edge — the most complete brow grooming without adding colour. Tell your therapist about retinoids, acid exfoliants or acne medication beforehand, as waxing may not be suitable.
Caring for it at home
For the first 24 hours keep the brows completely dry — no water, steam, sweat or products — and don't touch or brush them. After that, brush them into shape each morning and use a brow serum or a drop of oil at night to keep the hairs conditioned, since the lifting process is drying.
Lamination lasts around six weeks. Don't laminate more often than that; over-processing makes brow hair brittle.
Because the area has been waxed, also avoid makeup on the brows, exfoliating and sun exposure for 24 hours.
Tips from our stylists
- Keep brows dry and untouched for the first 24 hours
- Brush them into place each morning — that's how the shape is maintained
- Use a brow serum or a little oil at night to keep the hairs conditioned
- Don't book lamination more often than every six weeks
- Tell your therapist if your brow hairs feel dry or brittle before starting
- Let the hair grow for two weeks before your appointment so there's something to shape
- Keep makeup off the brows for 24 hours after waxing
