About this service

Brow waxing removes the hair outside your brow shape in one clean sweep, giving a defined edge that tweezing alone struggles to match.

Your therapist looks at your brow in relation to your face before touching it, and removes only what genuinely sits outside the shape. Over-plucked brows take months to recover, so the approach here is conservative — we'd rather you come back sooner than take too much.

The wax itself takes seconds per brow. Most of the appointment is shaping and tidying.

Please tell us about any medication before your appointment — retinoids, prescription acne treatments such as isotretinoin, and some antibiotics make skin fragile and waxing unsafe. The same applies to recent chemical peels, laser treatments or sunburn on the area.

What's included

  • Consultation and check for contraindications
  • Skin cleansed and prepared
  • Wax applied and removed in sections
  • Stray hairs tweezed for a clean finish
  • Soothing product applied
  • Aftercare advice

What to expect at your appointment

Allow about 15 minutes. Your therapist assesses the shape, cleanses the area, then applies and removes wax above and below the brow.

Any remaining strays are tweezed for precision. Soothing product is applied at the end. Redness around the brows is normal and usually settles within an hour.

Who it's best for

Anyone wanting a defined brow shape with a clean edge. If your brows are sparse or over-plucked, let them grow first — tell your therapist and they'll advise. Not suitable if you use retinoids or acne medication on your face.

Caring for it at home

For the first 24 hours avoid heat and friction: no hot showers or baths, no sauna or steam room, no gym or swimming, and no direct sun or sunbeds. Skip makeup and any scented products on the waxed area, and try not to touch it — freshly waxed skin has open follicles and is easy to irritate.

After 48 hours, start exfoliating gently two or three times a week. This is the single most effective thing you can do to prevent ingrown hairs. Keep the area moisturised too.

Tips from our stylists

  • Let hair grow to about a quarter of an inch — around two weeks
  • Don't shave between waxing appointments; it disrupts the growth cycle
  • Exfoliate gently from 48 hours afterwards to prevent ingrown hairs
  • Avoid heat, sweat and sun for 24 hours
  • Tell us about retinoids or acne medication before booking
  • Book every three to four weeks to keep hair on the same cycle

Common questions

Will you take too much off?
No — we work conservatively. Over-plucked brows take months to recover, so we'd rather remove less and see you again sooner.
How long does it last?
Three to four weeks for most people.
Does it hurt?
A brief sting for a couple of seconds per brow. Redness settles within the hour.
