Face Waxing
Complete facial hair removal for smooth, radiant skin.

About this service
A full face wax covers the upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns and forehead in one appointment — everywhere except the brows, which are shaped separately.
Removing all the fine facial hair at once does something a single area can't: makeup sits noticeably smoother, skincare absorbs better, and the skin looks brighter because light isn't catching on peach fuzz.
If you're having several individual areas waxed anyway, this is better value and gives a more even result.
Please tell us about any medication before your appointment — retinoids, prescription acne treatments such as isotretinoin, and some antibiotics make skin fragile and waxing unsafe. The same applies to recent chemical peels, laser treatments or sunburn on the area.
What's included
- Consultation and check for contraindications
- Skin cleansed and prepared
- Wax applied and removed across the upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns and forehead
- Stray hairs tweezed for a clean finish
- Soothing product applied
- Aftercare advice
What to expect at your appointment
Allow about 30 minutes. Your therapist cleanses your face, then works through each area in turn, applying and removing wax in sections.
Strays are tweezed and soothing product applied at the end. Your face will be pink for an hour or two — plan accordingly if you have somewhere to be.
Who it's best for
Anyone with visible facial hair or fine fuzz across the face, and anyone who finds makeup doesn't sit smoothly. Not suitable if you use retinoids, prescription acne medication, or have had a peel, laser treatment or sunburn on the face recently.
Caring for it at home
For the first 24 hours avoid heat and friction: no hot showers or baths, no sauna or steam room, no gym or swimming, and no direct sun or sunbeds. Skip makeup and any scented products on the waxed area, and try not to touch it — freshly waxed skin has open follicles and is easy to irritate.
After 48 hours, start exfoliating gently two or three times a week. This is the single most effective thing you can do to prevent ingrown hairs. Keep the area moisturised too.
No makeup for the rest of the day, and no facials, peels or exfoliating acids for 48 hours.
Tips from our stylists
- Book it two days before an event, not the same day — you'll be pink
- Stop retinoids a week before your appointment
- No makeup for the rest of the day
- Makeup applies far better on a freshly waxed face
- Every three to four weeks keeps it consistent
- Brows are shaped separately — add them if you want both
Common questions
- Does it include my brows?
- No — brows are shaped separately, since they need their own approach. Add a brow wax if you want both.
- Will my face be red?
- Pink for an hour or two. Don't book it the same day as an event.
- Does removing facial fuzz make makeup better?
- Noticeably, yes. Foundation sits smoother without fine hair underneath.
- How long does it last?
- Three to four weeks.
