Brow Lamination + Tint
Brow lamination with professional tinting Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty
Booking for this service continues on the Charm Brows & Beauty website (opens in a new tab).
About this service
Lamination lifts and sets the brow hairs; tint colours them. Together they address both problems at once — hairs that grow the wrong way and hairs that are too light to read as brow.
Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty.
Tint only colours hair, not skin, so the result is your own brows looking darker and fuller rather than a drawn-on shape. It's the pairing to choose if your brows have hair but it's fine or fair.
What's included
- Consultation about shape, lift and tint depth
- Lamination — lifting, brushing into position and setting
- Tint colour mixed and applied to the brow hairs
- Nourishing balm to condition the hairs
- Aftercare advice
What to expect at your appointment
Allow about an hour and fifteen minutes. Lamination is done first, then the tint is mixed to a depth agreed with you and applied to the hairs.
The tint processes for a few minutes and is wiped off, then a conditioning balm finishes the treatment. Your therapist will check the depth with you and can go a shade deeper if you'd like.
Who it's best for
Fine, fair or greying brow hairs that also grow in awkward directions. If your skin between the hairs needs colour too, airbrush is the better choice — tint only colours hair.
Caring for it at home
For the first 24 hours keep the brows completely dry — no water, steam, sweat or products — and don't touch or brush them. After that, brush them into shape each morning and use a brow serum or a drop of oil at night to keep the hairs conditioned, since the lifting process is drying.
Lamination lasts around six weeks. Don't laminate more often than that; over-processing makes brow hair brittle.
Tint fades over three to four weeks, faster with oil-based cleansers and exfoliants on the area — keep those away from your brows if you want the colour to last.
Tips from our stylists
- Keep brows dry and untouched for the first 24 hours
- Brush them into place each morning — that's how the shape is maintained
- Use a brow serum or a little oil at night to keep the hairs conditioned
- Don't book lamination more often than every six weeks
- Tell your therapist if your brow hairs feel dry or brittle before starting
- Ask for the tint a shade lighter than you think if you're unsure; it looks darker at first
- Keep oil cleansers and exfoliating acids off your brows to keep the tint longer
Common questions
- How long does the tint last?
- Around three to four weeks on the hair. The lamination lasts around six.
- Will it colour my skin?
- Tint colours hair, not skin. For colour on the skin between the hairs, ask about airbrush.
- Can I choose how dark it is?
- Yes — the depth is mixed to suit you, and your therapist checks it with you.
- How long does it take?
- About an hour and fifteen minutes.
