About this service

A lash lift curls your natural lashes upwards from the base and sets them there, so they look longer and your eyes look more open — without extensions or daily curling. The 'botox' part is the nourishing treatment applied afterwards, which conditions the lashes following the lifting process.

Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty.

Everything is done with your eyes closed and the lower lashes protected. It's a still, quiet hour, and many people find it relaxing.

The result is your own lashes, lifted — noticeable in a way that people can't quite place.

What's included

  • Consultation about the curl strength that suits your lashes and eye shape
  • Lower lashes protected and the area prepared
  • Lashes lifted onto a silicone shield and set at the chosen curl
  • Nourishing conditioning treatment applied afterwards
  • Aftercare advice

What to expect at your appointment

Allow about an hour. You lie down with your eyes closed for the treatment, with your lower lashes protected throughout.

Your lashes are combed onto a silicone shield, then the lifting solution is applied and processed, followed by the setting solution. The conditioning treatment finishes it. You'll see the result at the end — the curl looks its most dramatic on day one and softens slightly.

Who it's best for

Straight or downward-growing lashes, anyone tired of curling their lashes daily, and anyone who wants a natural alternative to extensions. It's not suitable if you have an eye infection, very short or fragile lashes, or recent eye surgery — tell your therapist about any eye conditions or medication beforehand.

Caring for it at home

Keep your lashes completely dry for the first 24 hours — no water, steam, sweat, or mascara — and don't rub or sleep face-down on them. After that, avoid oil-based cleansers and makeup removers around the eyes, as oil breaks the curl down.

Brush the lashes gently with a clean spoolie and use a lash conditioner if you have one. The lift lasts around six to eight weeks, growing out as new lashes come through.

Tips from our stylists

  • Come with clean lashes and no mascara or eye makeup
  • Keep lashes dry for 24 hours afterwards
  • Avoid oil-based cleansers and removers around the eyes
  • Don't use a lash curler afterwards; the lift does the job
  • Wait at least six weeks before repeating so lashes aren't over-processed

Common questions

How long does a lash lift last?
Around six to eight weeks, growing out gradually as new lashes come through.
Is it the same as extensions?
No — a lift curls your own lashes. Extensions add length by attaching new lashes.
Can I wear mascara afterwards?
Yes, after the first 24 hours, though many people find they don't need it. Avoid oil-based removers.
Does it damage lashes?
It's a chemical process, so conditioning them and not repeating it too often matters. Your therapist will advise on timing.
How long does it take?
About an hour.
