Lash Extension Removal
Safe and professional lash extension removal Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty
Booking for this service continues on the Charm Brows & Beauty website (opens in a new tab).
About this service
Professional removal takes lash extensions off safely using a gel or cream remover that dissolves the adhesive, so the extensions come away without taking your natural lashes with them.
Offered on-site by Charm Brows & Beauty.
This is the one part of the process not to attempt at home. Picking, pulling or trying to steam extensions off removes your own lashes too, and those take months to grow back. A proper removal takes half an hour.
What's included
- Lower lashes protected and the area prepared
- Professional remover applied to dissolve the adhesive
- Extensions gently released without pulling
- Natural lashes cleansed and checked
- Conditioning product applied
- Advice on caring for your natural lashes afterwards
What to expect at your appointment
Allow about 30 minutes. You lie with your eyes closed while the remover is applied and left to dissolve the adhesive.
The extensions are then wiped away rather than pulled. Your natural lashes are cleansed, checked and conditioned. Your therapist will tell you honestly what condition your natural lashes are in.
Who it's best for
Anyone wanting extensions removed — whether you're taking a break, changing style, or having them removed before a new full set. Also for anyone whose extensions have grown out unevenly and are uncomfortable.
Caring for it at home
Your natural lashes may feel bare for a few days simply by contrast. Use a lash conditioner or serum if you have one, be gentle with eye makeup removal, and skip lash curlers for a week or two.
If you're having a new set applied later, your therapist will advise on how long to wait.
Tips from our stylists
- Never try to remove extensions yourself — you'll take your own lashes with them
- Don't pick at loose extensions between appointments
- Ask your therapist how your natural lashes are looking; it's useful to know
- Give your lashes a short break if they feel sparse before a new set
- Use a lash conditioner in the weeks after removal
Common questions
- Can I remove extensions at home?
- Please don't. Picking, pulling or steaming them off removes your natural lashes, which take months to regrow.
- Will my own lashes look damaged?
- They may look sparse by comparison at first. Your therapist will tell you honestly what condition they're in.
- Can I have a new set applied the same day?
- Often yes. Mention it when you request your appointment so enough time is scheduled.
- How long does it take?
- About 30 minutes.
