Stem Cell Exosome Microneedling (60 mins)

Microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which triggers the body's own repair response and stimulates collagen production over the following weeks. This treatment pairs it with an exosome serum protocol applied into the channels created.

Exosomes are signalling particles used in advanced skincare formulations; the intention is to support the skin's recovery response. Published research in this area is still developing, so we'll describe what it's designed to do rather than promise specific outcomes.

The collagen response is gradual. Skin looks better after a week or two, and continues improving for two to three months — so judge it then, not the next morning.

This is a professional treatment with real downtime. Every treatment starts with a skin consultation. Please tell us about any medication, recent treatments, allergies, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, as some steps may need to be changed or left out.

Allow an hour. Numbing cream is applied first and left to work, which takes part of the appointment.

Your esthetician then works the microneedling device across the treatment area — you'll feel pressure and vibration rather than sharp pain, though bony areas feel more. Pinpoint bleeding is normal and expected.

The exosome serum is applied, then calming products and sunscreen. Your skin will be red and feel hot and tight, like sunburn, for around 24 to 48 hours.

Scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines and loss of firmness. Not suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, using isotretinoin or have used it within six months, have active acne, infection, cold sores, eczema or psoriasis in the area, keloid scarring, a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners. Tell your esthetician about all medication.

For the first 24 hours use only water and the products your esthetician gives you. No makeup, no touching, and wash your hands before applying anything — the channels are open and infection is the real risk.

For a week: no acids, retinoids, vitamin C, exfoliation, gym, sauna, steam, swimming or sun exposure. Mineral sunscreen daily once you're past 24 hours.

Expect redness for one to two days, then tightness and light flaking. Don't pick. Results build over two to three months; a course of three, spaced four to six weeks apart, is usually recommended.
