About this service
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the skin's own collagen production. This version pairs it with Zetox, a topical peptide serum formulated to give a temporary smoothing, relaxed appearance to fine surface lines.
To be clear about what this is: Zetox is a cosmetic topical product, not injectable botulinum toxin. It does not affect muscles the way injections do, and it is not a substitute for them. It's applied to the skin surface into the microchannels created by needling.
The real work here is the microneedling — collagen builds gradually over two to three months. The topical adds a temporary surface smoothing on top of that.
This treatment has genuine downtime. Every treatment starts with a skin consultation. Please tell us about any medication, recent treatments, allergies, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, as some steps may need to be changed or left out.
What's included
- Detailed consultation and suitability check
- Cleanse and numbing cream applied, with time to take effect
- Microneedling pass at a depth suited to your skin
- Zetox peptide serum protocol applied into the channels
- Calming, barrier-supporting products
- Mineral SPF and detailed aftercare instructions
What to expect at your appointment
Allow an hour. Numbing cream goes on first and needs time to work.
Your esthetician then works the device across the area — pressure and vibration rather than sharp pain, with bony areas feeling more. Pinpoint bleeding is normal.
The Zetox serum is applied, then calming products and sunscreen. Expect redness and a hot, tight, sunburn-like feeling for 24 to 48 hours.
Who it's best for
Fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores and loss of firmness. Not suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, using or recently using isotretinoin, or if you have active acne, infection, cold sores, eczema, psoriasis in the area, keloid scarring, a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners.
Caring for it at home
For the first 24 hours use only water and the products your esthetician provides. No makeup, no touching, clean hands only — the channels are open and infection is the genuine risk.
For a week: no acids, retinoids, vitamin C, exfoliation, gym, sauna, steam, swimming or sun. Mineral sunscreen daily after the first 24 hours.
Redness for one to two days, then tightness and light flaking. Don't pick. The surface smoothing from the topical is temporary; the collagen results build over two to three months, and a course of three spaced four to six weeks apart is usually recommended.
Tips from our stylists
- This is not injectable botox — it's a topical peptide serum
- Clear a day or two; you'll be visibly red
- Book at least three weeks before an event
- Tell us about blood thinners and isotretinoin
- Only use what your esthetician gives you for 24 hours
- A course of three gives much better results than one
