About this service
Bangs grow faster than you expect them to, and a fringe that has crept past your eyebrows changes the whole look of your haircut. A bang trim is a short, focused visit to put that right — no full cut, no long appointment.
Your stylist trims the fringe back to the length and shape it was cut to, blends it into the sides so it doesn't sit as a separate block, and dries it so you leave with it sitting properly.
What's included
- Trim of the fringe back to its intended length and shape
- Blending into the surrounding hair so it sits naturally
- A quick dry and finish of the fringe
- Advice on styling your fringe at home
What to expect at your appointment
Allow around 15 minutes. Your stylist will check how you wear your fringe, trim it dry or lightly damp depending on your hair, then dry and check it before you leave.
Who it's best for
Anyone with a fringe between full haircuts — blunt, curtain, side-swept or textured. It's the easiest way to keep your haircut looking fresh without booking a full appointment.
Caring for it at home
A fringe usually needs washing more often than the rest of your hair because it sits against your skin — washing just the fringe at the basin at home is perfectly fine. Dry it first, straight after washing, using a round brush or your fingers to set the direction while it's still damp.
Tips from our stylists
- Come in when your fringe is clean and dry so your stylist can see how it actually falls
- Resist trimming it yourself — dry hair springs up shorter than you expect once it's cut
- Ask for a bang trim between haircuts; most fringes need one every two to four weeks
- Dry your fringe first after washing, before the rest of your hair, to stop it setting in the wrong direction
Common questions
- How often should I get my bangs trimmed?
- Every two to four weeks for most fringes, depending on how fast your hair grows and how short you like them.
- Do I need a full appointment?
- No — a bang trim is a short visit on its own, around 15 minutes.
- Can you change the shape of my fringe?
- A trim keeps your existing shape. If you'd like a different fringe, mention it when you request the appointment so we can allow more time.
- Is it included with a haircut?
- Your fringe is trimmed as part of a full haircut. This service is for keeping it tidy in between.
