About this service

This is the complete bridal makeup service: a full trial in advance, then your makeup on the wedding day itself.

The trial is the point. You sit down with your artist well before the wedding, work through the look properly, photograph it, live in it for a few hours and decide what you'd change. On the day there's no experimenting — your artist recreates a look you've already approved, which is one less thing to think about on a morning that has plenty to think about.

What's included

  • A full pre-wedding trial appointment with time to test and adjust the look
  • Photographs of the trial in different light so you can review it honestly
  • Notes and a recorded formula so the look can be recreated exactly
  • Wedding-day application with longwear, photography-ready products
  • Skin prep, base, eyes, brows, lashes, cheek and lip
  • Touch-up guidance and a lip colour recommendation for the day

What to expect at your appointment

The trial runs around 90 minutes: you talk through your dress, your hair, your venue and the feel you want, then your artist builds the look while you give feedback. You'll be photographed in daylight and indoor light, and adjustments are made until you're happy. Everything is recorded.

On the wedding day the application takes around 90 minutes and follows the agreed look exactly. Your artist works to your schedule and factors in time for photographs.

Who it's best for

Any bride who wants certainty rather than surprises. It's especially worth it if you rarely wear makeup, if you're unsure what suits you in photographs, or if you know exactly what you want and need it reproduced precisely.

Caring for it at home

On the day, blot rather than powder, and keep your lip colour with you — that's the one thing that needs topping up. Your artist will tell you which product to carry.

Before the wedding, look after your skin: consistency in the months beforehand does more than anything applied on the morning. Don't try new skincare or facials in the week before.

Tips from our stylists

  • Book the trial four to eight weeks before the wedding
  • Come to the trial with your hair as it'll be on the day, and bring dress photos and your inspiration images
  • Wear a white or ivory top to the trial so you can judge the look against your dress colour
  • Photograph the trial yourself, indoors and outside
  • Live in the trial look for the rest of the day to see how it wears
  • Don't book a facial or try new skincare in the week before the wedding
  • Tell your artist your timings early so the morning schedule works

Common questions

When should I book the trial?
Four to eight weeks before the wedding is ideal — recent enough to be relevant, early enough to change your mind.
What should I bring to the trial?
Photos of your dress, your inspiration images, and any makeup you love. Wear a white or ivory top.
Can I change the look after the trial?
Yes — that's what the trial is for. Tell your artist what you'd adjust and it's noted for the day.
Does this cover my bridal party too?
This price is for the bride. Ask about additional applications for your party when you request your appointment.
How long does the wedding-day application take?
Around 90 minutes, scheduled around your morning timeline.
