Styling (Curling / Straightening)

A focused styling appointment for hair you've already washed at home. Your stylist works with hot tools to either curl your hair — soft waves, defined curls or a loose bend — or straighten it smooth, depending on what you want.

Because there's no shampoo or blow dry included, it's the quickest way to get a professional finish, and a good option when your hair is clean but the style isn't cooperating.

Allow about 30 minutes. Come with clean, dry hair. Your stylist will talk through the finish you want, apply heat protectant, then work through your hair in sections with the appropriate tool.

The style is set with a light finishing product at the end.

Anyone who washes their hair at home and just wants it styled, or who wants a quick refresh before an event. It's also the practical choice for straightening curly or coarse hair properly, which is difficult to do evenly yourself.

Heat styling is hardest on the ends, so use a weekly conditioning treatment if you style often. Keep the style dry, sleep on silk to preserve it, and always use heat protectant when you style at home.

Curls generally hold two to three days; straightened hair lasts until it gets damp.
